Our goal was to address the world's most difficult issues and find meaningful solutions to them. Akeptus™ didn’t start out as a traditional company, and we're not going to be one.
One-in-five of US households risk disconnection. Unfortunately, this economic pain hits minority communities the hardest. 50% of those struggling are African American and 40% are Hispanic. The push for renewable energy is expanding. But we still need more effective and affordable options.
That’s where we come in.
In 2019, a diverse community of inventors and entrepreneurs teamed up to find a solution to soaring home energy costs. We launched Akeptus with this vision in mind.
